Macau Science Centre, designed by world-renowned architect Ieoh Ming Pei, has many permanent science-themed exhibitions and interactive exhibitions for children plus the world’s highest-resolution three-dimensional Planetarium as noted by the Guinness Book of World Records. Its hemispherical big screen and high-tech digital projectors regularly present programmes featuring astronomy, geography and science. Recently, the Centre introduced ‘Legends of Flight 3D’, whereby exhibition-goers can experience the first public flight of the Airbus A380 and of the lighter Dreamliner 787, the first ever carbon fibre airliner! The Centre also has multi-functional conference rooms, shops and cafes.
