To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Macau SAR, the Organizing Committee of the Sculpture Park of the Chinese Ethnics assembled 56 renowned contemporary artisans to sculpt the 56 ethnic groups of China in bronze, which were then gifted to the Macau SAR. Standing in 13,000sq.m. of scenic Grand Taipa Natural Park, they add an attractive dimension to the hilltop landscape with its beautiful city views, while the 160sq.m. Exhibition Centre is a must-see. The walk or drive up the hill presents a fairly steep gradient but is well worth the view - both en route and from the top.
